Judging the Thomas Tang Moot Court Competition - Friday, November 8, 2013
Dear members of the Bench & Bar, please volunteer to serve as oral argument judges for the 20th Annual Thomas Tang International Moot Court Competition, administered by the NAPABA Law Foundation, and held in conjunction with the Annual NAPABA Convention, November 6-10, 2013, in Kansas City, MO.
Two preliminary rounds will be held, Friday, November 8th from, 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the the Kansas City Marriott Downtown Hotel. Parking will be validated for those volunteering from the Kansas City, area not registered to attend the NAPABA Convention.
You may sign up to serve as judges for one or both of the preliminary rounds.
Individuals interested in judging should signup for their available time slots using the sheet below. Four judges are needed for each room (A-H) for both preliminary rounds (9:15-10:15 & 10:30-11:30).
We also need five volunteers to serve as alternates for each preliminary round, in case of last minute cancellations.
Once you sign up, you will be provided a Dropbox.com link to the problem, bench brief, rules and oral argument scoring sheets.
You will receive an e-mail to reconfirm your availability, as well as your room assignments within the Marriott Conference Center and other information regarding logistics, by Monday, November 3, 2013.
If you need to cancel or modify your committment prior to Monday, November 3, 2013, please do so via wejoinin.com link you used to sign up to serve as a volunteer judge.
