ARC March 8th Blood Drive

Hi everyone,

Since we have some new people with us this semester (welcome!), I will explain all the necessary information again.

Below is the sign-ups for the actual day of the blood drive. We need people tabling/flyering as well as canteening to make sure we are able to pull enough people to meet our goal as well as making sure people who do donate are adequately informed about what to do after their donation and taken care of. If you are also interested in wearing Buddy, our blood drop mascot, feel free to sign up to wear him as well. It's pretty fun to wear, you draw a lot of attention, people take pictures with you and hug you, sometimes you'll be screamed at by a homeless person...but in all seriousness, it's a great way to get people to donate so I encourage anyone to wear it. You might see me wear it in fact.

One requirement for canteening is that you have to have gone to one canteening orientation at least once and know the secret phrase. If you do not know the secret phrase, please do not sign up for canteening until you have been oriented. Orientation for canteening will be this Tuesday, March 1 in 20 Barrows from 7-8pm. If you can't make it to this orientation, please let me know so we can schedule another date for you guys.

If you sign up for tabling/flyering for a time that says "SETUP", we will need your assistance in grabbing all our stuff from our office in Eshleman so please meet either Salman or Jordan outside Eshleman at around 9:50-9:55AM.

If you sign up for tabling/flyering for a time that says "CLEANUP", we will need you to help pack up our stuff and place it back into our office.
